One Thing Could Ruin Your Interior Design Proposal

One Thing Could Ruin Your Interior Design Proposal

You are a designer, either an architect or an interior designer.?

You have a concept to finish and there is a deadline.

The deadline has been already agreed on.

You know it.

You know that on that day, your proposal should be compelling and comprehensive with numbers and visuals.

You start the concept.

You try to make a solution that meets the client’s needs & expectations and your visions for that space or building.

You feel that the deadline is tight (almost 99.99% of the time, don’t you agree?)

Until now, all is OK until this thing happens.

You have your design as sketches, rough 2D plans, and a rough 3D model.

You feel that you have good materials to present, but it’s not enough for the client to take a decision.

You keep developing the design until you feel, you can’t make the visuals:

“I am?exhausted, let’s outsource it”

That’s exactly the problem.

Outsourcing comes to your mind at the last third of the timeline of the project.

You have some old options for 3D studios that you might not like.

Or you search for a new one.

Either way, there’s not much time left.

You ask for a quote and you get a high price.

Now you are under budget pressure.

You feel overwhelmed and start shopping for low-quality 3D studios.

You find someone that fits your financial expectation and you accept the medium quality.

You propose the concept and the client asks for reviews (countless number of reviews)

Did you ask yourself, what brought you there?

It’s simple.

You don’t have proper planning.

Yes, you should accept it.

You can design the best space in the world, but if your project planning isn’t up to your design skills, you’ll fail and blame the industry and the client.

Once you have a reliable PARTNER that you rely on most of the time, you will start developing the concept together.

  • You send you sketches, to wake up and find them in 3D visual.
  • You will be able to judge earlier whether it’s worth presenting or not.
  • Whether it’s what you have imagined or not.
  • Whether it’s meeting the client's expectations or not.

You will go for a minimum of 8 hours of sleep before the presentation and go to the meeting with full energy without the need for 3 cups of coffee to wake up and be present with your client.

With all that in mind, did you read the 4 things no one has told you about outsourcing your 3D visuals?

I put that report to make you aware of what not to do when looking for outsourcing partners, and also what to look for.

here it is.
