Have you been watching the Olympics?
Every day there is a totally new cast of characters (and some incredible repeats) who are giving their ALL to achieve a singular goal that many have spent years dedicated to achieving.
And yet the margin of error between winning and losing can be 5/1000s of a second. You can't say the word "second" in that amount of time!
Other events, matches and games are lost by one point or a matter of inches.
The competition is fierce, and seemingly never ending!

What does a coach do for you?
A good coach is someone who has been where you want to go. They guide you along the best path to travel so you avoid roadblocks, nasty potholes, and other challenges along the way. in essence, they help with:
~ IDEATION - A good coach will be your perfect sounding board for all those ideas you think about implementing.
~ PRIORITIZATION - We all have too much to do. Your coach will help you decide what to do now, what to do next, and what to do never!
~ ACCOUNTABILITY - The right coach will help keep you on task and on track amidst the twists and turns your business will have.
~ SUPPORT - Some days you need a cheerleader. Other's it's a shoulder to cry on. Your coach will be there through thick and thin.
~ CONFIDENCE and CLARITY - Neither last, nor least, your coach should help you find your voice, clarify your message, and bully you up enough to put yourself "out there"...whatever that looks like for you!

Great post. There are many similarities between sports and business. Competition is fierce and achieving peak performance requires coaching, determination, and perseverance to overcome hurdles. Even then someone might lean in more at the right time to win the gold. It is fascinating to watch.
