At a time where we are looking at equity across our country and around the world with deep concern, I continue to push for a focus on economic equity. How can we expect for black people around the world to achieve social equity when Forbes counts less than 1% of the world's billionaires as being black.

Wealth fuels colleges, the military, political campaigns, real estate development and banks. The very systems by which we measure equity.

This goes for all peoples who believe they are disadvantaged in education, employment, housing and human rights in general. Economics are not the only answer but they are a vital part of it.

We must inspire and educate more Unlikely entrepreneurs. Wealth must diversify, globally.
