One Single Advise that Would Change Your Entire Trading Performance

Hello,?my?dear! I hope you are doing well.

Today, I want to share a personal experience with you.

Yesterday, I was talking to one of my friends on the phone, and he was very depressed. He just started trading options and is facing lots of obstacles.

He shared many strategies that he found on the internet or by discussing them with many traders who are doing well.

Few are making money with option buying. Few are creating options strategies, few are selling options, few are following price action, and few are following technical indicators.

He said, “All are making money except me”.

So I asked, “What are you doing right now?”

He said I was doing options selling a few months ago, but due to high risk, I started doing options hedging strategies, but the market was very trending in the last few months so I got a loss there also. Then I saw someone making good money in options buying so I’ve been doing options buying for the last few weeks.

I asked, “What’s the performance so far?”

He said losing only. ??

As per my experience, the problem is that he is not sticking to one trading plan.

Every system has some limitations. Some work in trending markets, and some work sideways. Some work when momentum is high and some in low momentum. Some work well in high volatility, and some work in low volatility.

So every day, one system worked. and another didn’t. The problem starts when we start looking at other people’s systems.

We thought that his or her system is more powerful than mine. But, my dear friend, every system has some limitations too. There were days when their system would not work, but yours did.

So always find out which system suits you based on your risk appetite, and then follow that system with patience and discipline.

Once you’ve decided on a system, your focus should be on how to improve it. not how to get away from it.

We won’t get anywhere if we jump from here to there.

If you look at other people who are doing well, you will notice that they all have one thing in common: they are all just following their system. They don’t care what others are doing.

So always stick to your system and improve or optimize it based on the current nature of the market.
