One simple strategy to hit your goals
How many times have you set a goal and completely forgotten about it or left it behind because it was too hard to maintain or whatever other excuses you want to come up with?
Then three months later you find yourself in the exact same position as you were when you first started.
All you need is one simple strategy to hit your goals…
Pearson's law states that "When performance is measured, performance improves. When performance is measured and reported back, the rate of improvement accelerates."
So what this means is that if you track it, it will improve but if you track your results and report back to someone else, you’ll improve exponentially because now you have an accountability partner.
The same way you go into planning a business, you should be making a plan for your life and being as serious as you’d be for your business.
You need to get really good at quantifying your goals. Numbers can be tracked, and so if you track them, they can be recorded and if you record them, you can give them to someone else to be accountable for them.
People who have successful lives, plan their goals, and have people that hold them accountable.
If you don’t have enough people in your life that want to see you thrive, then you need to go out and get yourself some, even if it’s one person.
By far the one thing that has had me thrive at my goals is my best friend. For 14 years we’ve been working diligently and holding one another accountable and I know that I would not be as far ahead in my goals as I am today if it weren’t for him.
