One secret to employee retention (works on customers, too)

One secret to employee retention (works on customers, too)

People want to enjoy their work. After all, they will spend most of their waking days on the job. Creating an environment where their is fun at work is a great way for retention.

This is not to say you should have a party on the job, it is to say that an outstanding manager looks for ways to engage the workforce. It could be that you run challenges or even contests to hit your key performance indicators (KPIs). Depending on the interests of your team a creative manager is able to find ways to make the job fun.

This is also a way for customer retention to increase. People love to shop and eat where a crew is continually in a great mood. The customer will sense the employees are happy to be at work, and that happiness is contagious.

Patrice & Associates has had high standards for candidates since their founding in 1989. Even in these times of employee shortage these standards are in place. It is working for them as new records are being set for successful placements. All candidates have proven performance in a like title position in similar concept with proven tenure of not more than three jobs in the last nine years.
