ONE "SEC" WITH THE BIG 'OLE BEAST
I'm walking out of this ballroom after a GREAT seminar, and while waiting to chat with one of the speakers, I decide to check out the nearby stand with flyers.
You know, those gazillion and one flyers in a hotel lobby?
Well... my eyes are scanning the lot and BOOM! One STEALS my attention.
It looks weird. And it isn't the color.
Am I really seeing what I think I see?
The top right corner is literally BITTEN off...
As if ..SOMETHING.. had munched it off.
Upon closer inspection, I realize the flyer is for a seemingly thrilling "RIDE THE BEAST SPEEDBOAT" ride, in a vessel fully decked out in beast artwork - teeth glaring and all.
Very clever, huh?
And here's why I ESPECIALLY love this:
1) It's SIMPLE. (S)
2) It's EFFECTIVE. (E)
3) It's CHEAP. (C)
They didn't use more ink. They didn't use more paper. They just modified what was already there to make it so much more effective.
So the question is:
How can YOU use the "SEC" Principle in your business? What SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE, and CHEAP things can you do to STAND OUT from the crowd?
Have a think on it. A nice long hard think.
And whatever you come up with...
