People do business with people they know, like and trust.
We do it with clients, investors, customers, colleagues, sponsors, mentors, etc.
Think about the last business opportunity that came your way.
Maybe after months of searching, you successfully hired someone amazing, invested in a service for your business, or secured a major contract.
I have no doubt that a large part of your success lay in the relationships you built.
Knowing the other person(s), liking them and trusting them was fundamental to your success. Am I right?!
There is 1 relationship, however, that trumps all others.
It can either amplify or break the effectiveness of your relationship-building efforts.
This is the Know-Like-Trust relationship with... YOURSELF!
Here's why:
?? You are your most influential stakeholder, cheerleader, and critic.
What you put out there is what others receive.
If you don't believe in yourself and your value, no one else will.
However, if you do, others will naturally believe it too.?
??? Communicating your story, value and ideas becomes so much easier.

How can someone else know, like and trust you if you aren't crystal clear that you know, like and trust yourself?
It makes sense when I say it like that, right? :).
When you know, like, and trust yourself, it becomes so much easier to help others connect the dots too.?
?? It enables you to better connect with your tribe.
By knowing, liking and trusting yourself, it's much easier to connect with your tribe because you can find the people who connect on similar backgrounds, passions, and values.
As well as those with complementary backgrounds, passions, and values that can strengthen the tribe.
Building this "Know-Like-Trust" relationship with yourself is totally within your control.
It just takes a similar amount of investment in yourself, as you do in your clients, customers, investors, sponsors, and other stakeholders.?
The bottom line: Invest in yourself as much as (if not more than) you invest in other things, people and experiences. It pays dividends!?
Warmest regards,
Yewande
