Entrepreneurs today market their services better than ever. We've mastered tools and strategies to elevate our awareness and reach. Yet, despite these advancements, many entrepreneurs still struggle to sell more of their services. Why?

The answer lies in a major and pervasive crime committed by entrepreneurs.

The Crime: Simply Not Asking for the Business!

You can't rely on a great presentation alone, hoping clients will say, "Can I hire you?" That approach just doesn't cut it anymore.?

I believe the average entrepreneur's desire to be "liked" is so high that they avoid any risk by not asking for the business. Hoping or asking, "What do you think?" are not effective selling strategies today.

Here's how I, Brian K McNeill, the Sales Confidence Coach, want you to ask for business:

Once you believe your prospective client fully understands how your services will benefit them and the cost involved, say these words:

"Will you give my service a try?"

Or, "Will you give us a try?"

"Will you give us a try?" is such a non-threatening way of asking for the business.

If you, my entrepreneurial friend, resolve to ask this question in every presentation, you will close more sales and enjoy it more. So, go ahead and ask—it's time to stop committing this crime and start seeing the results you deserve!
