One Percent is HUGE!

Let's talk about a game-changing concept that can take our businesses from good to great! You've probably heard of the 1% concept or the "agregate of marginal gains"... It's like compound interest but in business – the power of getting just a tad better every day. ie; small improvements that snowball over time.

Picture this: waking up each day with one goal in mind – to be a "smidge" better than yesterday. Maybe it's learning something new, tweaking a product, service or offering based on customer or peer feedback. Nothing drastic or daunting, just small, consistent progress.

Plants are a great anaolgy to business. Full transparency, I used to have a black thumb with anything green... Until I decided that I was determined to have success. "I am going to grow a plant with intention" So, I slowed down, I bought an easy-to-care-for plant, and then another. Along the way doing the research on each of my plants to make sure they had the appropriate amount of sun and water. Now I have several indoor and outdoor plants that are growing and thriving! And it's incredible to watch them grow, which of course, encourages me to nurture them even more!?A little water, a little sun, a little wipe, a little trimming of the leaves and in time, they burst with beautiful green life!

That's what we want for our businesses! When we water a little bit every day; consistently and intentionally nurturing our businesses with tiny improvements, we're setting it up for long-term success.

And while small actions might not seem like much on their own, they add up.

And here's the real beauty of it – it's totally doable. You don't need to overhaul your entire business or pull off some miraculous feat. It's all about those little wins that accumulate over time, building momentum and propelling you forward.

Plus, adopting this mindset keeps us motivated, focused, and excited about the journey ahead. Even on those days when things don't go as planned, knowing that we're moving the needle even just a tiny bit can be incredibly empowering.
