One of my ITIL Foundations students sent me this today!

The results above inspired me to share this experience with you. A little focus, determination and good quality ITIL training can yield great results! This year is on track to be epic!

This student passed the EXIN ITIL Foundations certification exam with room to spare. A good sign of understanding. He said the secret was in the cross functional explanations provided during the training and and his basic comprehension of the ITSM concepts from proactive self study. As stated before, quality learning opportunity connected with preparation often yields great results. All of the ITIL exams are challenging and thought provoking. Achieving the minimum passing score is no easy task based on a 40 question total (26/40). Take a few practice exams online to gauge your own knowledge and capability today, if interested.

Low or failing ITIL Foundations scores are typically a result of cram sessions to get the "P" for Pass or in general it is a sign of poor understanding of the linkage between stages, functions and processes within the Service Life Cycle. In the long run, focusing on the pass grade does not provide business value for yourself or the future business you support. I believe that anyone willing to take the training should also be focused enough to understand the value and want to use this information as a part of their professional career. The demand for this certification is growing yearly. You will find it in the Top 15 certifications on most IT trade websites.
