One More Day
Brilliant Black Women keep going!

One More Day

On January 29th, I committed to actively engage in networking with professionals who share similar interests. I grew weary of merely observing accomplished individuals on LinkedIn and yearned for the opportunity to connect with them in person and contribute to their impactful initiatives. Over the past 32 days, I dedicated myself to a profound exploration of my passions. This journey led me to re-enroll in school and participate in various events featuring talented African Americans in the Houston area. These experiences allowed me to immerse myself in an atmosphere of growth and positivity.

As we conclude Black History Month today, we are fortunate to have an extra day this year. This additional day provides us with an opportunity to embrace and celebrate our differences, reflecting on the resilience of the African American community in a nation marked by bigotry. Let's use this extra day to proudly acknowledge that February is a month for us to truly shine.

I extend a challenge to my fellow African Americans: take a moment to write a letter to your future self filled with dreams and words of encouragement. Remind yourself of your identity and the person you aspire to become. Clarify your "why" in what you do. I am sharing this message because this day won't return until 2028, and I want to emphasize that sometimes the "extra" effort we put in truly matters.

Absolutely! In the world of #CRO, it's vital to remember that bringing real change often requires patience and persistence. As Vincent van Gogh beautifully said - What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything? ?? Let's keep pushing the boundaries and writing those promises!
