One more candle...

I realise that am not young anymore as I blow one more candle. I have learnt a lot & unlearnt a lot in the process in my short life. I can only pay homage to the real man I knew - Dad (RIP). We have to keep the fire burning as you inspired us. Charlie Chaplin's heart-touching statements: - I like walking in the rain, because nobody can see my tears. That's the simplest way to explain the pain. We find encouragement in scripture:

1 Corinthians 13:12-13

" We don't yet see things clearly. We are squinting in a fog peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears.."

A story is told of an old man has 8 hairs on his head. He went to the barber shop. The barber in anger asked: shall I cut or count? The old man smiled and said: "Colour them". - What a sense of humour or it Wisdom ?

Now that I have to carry the mantle I been reflecting on the jungle stories as some are very profound:

1. The Elephant is the biggest

2. The Giraffe is the tallest

3. The Fox is the wisest

4. The Cheetah is the fastest

Yet, the Lion is the KING of the jungle even 

without ANY of these qualities.

Why?

Because:

1. The Lion is courageous, is bold, walks with

confidence, dares anything and is never afraid. 

2. The Lion believes it is unstoppable. 

3. The Lion is a risk taker. 

4. The Lion believes any animal is food for him. 

5. The Lion believes any opportunity is worth 

giving a try and never lets it slip from its hands. 

Natural acts unlock supernatural graces

Lots of other lessons too...

I have also reflected on simple things in life by partnering with God to do the supernatural - if I can only just touch the hem on his garment...
