One month @Lufthansa Cargo

Starting in such an amazing business like @Lufthansa Cargo leaves no time to rest and moving in easy. The first month in the freight business has been very exciting. And many more to come...

• On March 15, our first A321F took off from Frankfurt to Dublin. Our customers now have additional capacity for urgent freight on continental routes. The converted @Airbus A321P2F, operated by @CityLine, will fly to destinations that are most in demand by our customers. Charter is also possible.
• What steps are we as Lufthansa Cargo taking to operate in a carbon neutral manner in the future? Are hydrogen or methanol alternatives to kerosene? What possibilities for CO2-neutral flying already exist today? I exchanged views on these and other topics with guests at our 2nd?"Regional Policy Exchange Air Cargo" this week.?Together with @Dorothea von Boxberg joining virtual, we welcomed 8 regional members of the German Bundestag, mayors of neighboring municipalities, representatives of the Hessian Ministry of Transport, various chambers of industry and commerce, and logistics researchers for an intensive exchange. We presented ourself as a committed and responsible global player and employer in the region and explained current global and regional projects and challenges in airfreight. The topics included investments at the Frankfurt Hub, climate protection measures, and the effects of the war in Ukraine on airfreight.
• And last but not least: Lufthansa Cargo goes for 100% #eAWB for all shipments. With the start of the summer flight schedule, we switched to 100% eAWB. This is a historic milestone comparable to the last paper ticket in passenger transportation. Congratulations to all who have worked on this over the last few years!
