One Missing Goal System To Hit More Growth Milestones and Targets

One Missing Goal System To Hit More Growth Milestones and Targets

What Is The One Missing Goal System To Hit More Grown Milestones and Targets?

It's the foundation that keeps you on track each day. That one missing system is, Positive Thinking. Goals don't happen in a day, they happen with a clearly mapped out plan of steps and systems, then the relentless execution of those steps every day.

One negative day, could shut off a positive trajectory...it has for me, and most people I talk to, until they realize the impact of positive thinking on hitting milestones and goals.

In this issue of Business Systems & Multipliers, we will discuss the connection between positive thinking and goal achievement, as well as the effects of negative thinking on your achievement of goals.

The Impact of Positive Thinking on Your Achievement of Goals

People often ask me about the connection between positive thinking and goal achievement. While that might seem like a strange question, the truth is that people want to know if it is really possible to achieve their goals through positive thinking.

Negatively thinking might be the missing thing that's keeping you from reaching your goals this year...

What is Positive Thinking?

Positive thinking is the act of viewing and thinking about the world in a way that is more optimistic, rather than viewing the world as being negative and pessimistic. Positive thinking is the opposite of negative thinking. Positive thinking is the way in which we view the world. It is a habit of mind that is developed through practicing gratitude and practicing self-love.

If positive thinking is practiced often enough, it will become a habit and will be second nature to you.

While we all have thoughts that are not positive, the focus of positive thinking is on the thoughts themselves.

You can practice positive thinking by focusing on the following practices:

  • Accepting people for who they are - from the good, the bad, and the ugly - not for who you want them to be.
  • Accepting the current reality of the business now, the team, the revenue, and the current systems.
  • Verbalizing the things you want rather than focusing on what you don’t have.
  • Using words that invoke abundance, as opposed to words that focus on lack...as a team.
  • Practicing gratitude and self-love, not just for yourself, but for everything and everyone in your world.

The Connection between Positive Thinking and Goal Achievement

There is an ongoing research study that has been conducted for the past 50 years. It is a study that is focused on learning more about the connection between positive thinking and goal achievement. In this study, the psychologists tested both positive thinking and goal achievement by giving people positive thinking tapes and by measuring the amount of success that each person achieved. The studies have shown that positive thinking and goal achievement are not the same thing.

People think that if they just think positively, that they will automatically achieve more goals. While it is true that positive thinking helps with goal achievement, it is not the only thing that determines your success in life. What determines your success is what you do every day to achieve your goals.

The Negative Effects of Positive Thinking on Goal Achievement

While positive thinking can help with achieving goals, it can also have negative effects on goal achievement. Here are a few negative effects of positive thinking on goal achievement:

Positive thinking can cause people to be overly optimistic, which can lead to a false sense of security and to not taking action on their goals.

How to Achieve Goals Through Positive Thinking?

People often ask me how they can utilize the power of positive thinking to achieve their goals. The key to positive thinking is to focus on what you want, rather than what you don’t want. The old saying “what you focus on, expands” is true. If your goal is to become more successful in life, you need to make that happen by making your thoughts about success. When you make your thoughts about success, success finds a way to appear in your life.

The first thing that you need to do is to write down all of your goals. When you write down your goals, you are breaking the goal into small pieces that are easier to achieve. If you don’t write your goals down, you might forget what they are.

Once you have written down your goals, you need to make it a habit to think positively about your goals every single day. You can do this by writing down your thoughts and making them positive.
