One Minute Principle

One Minute Principle

Basically, the One-Minute Rule is a way to trick yourself into doing all of those little things you put off because they seem kinda annoying in the moment. According to the one-minute rule, if something can be done in a minute or less, you must do it right away. It can be anything from putting away your coat when you walk in the door to replying to an email immediately rather than waiting until later. The one minute rule is one of those methods which will help you fight laziness and keep your purposes alive instead of letting them die of starvation. Here in the West, we have the terrible practice of trying to accomplish great changes in short periods of time.

Things Can You Accomplish with the One-Minute Rule? It turns out, a lot! Here are just a few examples of one-minute tasks: Sorting through the mail and tossing the junk mail out. Putting items away as soon as you’re finished using them. Making a phone call. Replying to an email. Bringing in trash from the car. Wiping down the table after a meal. Putting dishes directly into the dishwasher rather than into the sink first. Moving the laundry from the washer to the dryer. Changing passwords regularly. Jotting down an idea for a future blog post. Watering your plants. Picking up a piece of trash and throwing it out. Putting something into the recycle bin rather than the garbage can. Cutting up a piece of fruit for a snack rather than eating a candy bar.

Pouring a glass of water rather than opening a can of soda. Taking meat out of the freezer to thaw for tomorrow’s dinner. Taking the trash out. If you’re thinking that some of those tasks might take more than literally 60 seconds, yes, you’re probably right. Get prepared or get fired. This is an experiment we need to do for ten consecutive days. Read one page from one book. Do one Surya Namaskar. Do one Yogasanas. Do one minute meditation. Daily learn by heart two difficult spellings.Write two lines in good handwriting. Once we start doing these simple things daily as a one minute rule, it definitely helps us to improve our daily life.

Kaizen was discovered in Japan and it changed the whole world by changing so many things. Kai means change an Zen means wisdom. Therefore this life changing magical method helps us to plan better than ever before. Masaki Imai discovered the One minute principle and today Japan is leading the world in doing so many new innovations. We normally fail to be consistent in our daily habits. The planning needs to be done with full patience and dedication. Every day?at the same time just for a minute do these things. Daily if you can devote just one minute connected with your objectives and we can start working on it like a simple one minute task instead of hours of work plan. Just do these one minute things daily and get self confidence and self motivation. Cheers!
