How to achieve success in life?

Let's start by defining what being successful looks like to you. There is no right or wrong way to define success because it looks different for everyone. What matters is that you are able to define it for yourself. Everyone has their own personal definition of success. For some people it may be reaching the C-Suite, for others like me could be small little things such as waking up and getting up every morning with energy and not feeling depressed. Also big things like seeing all my participants passing their HR Certification exams, changing lives in a positive manner, having many friends and making sales! That is definitely being successful to me!

"Tips to Become Successful"

1. Define what success is to you

2. Be committed, focused, persistent and passionate with your goals

3. Do not give up

4. Learn from the journey

5. Think positively

6. Be a mentor, a friend, a teacher to others - serve others

7. Be honest with yourself and know your limits

8. Have fun along the way

9. Dream big - visualize your goals and have a plan

10. Let go of negativity, fear of failure and procrastination

Contributions from friends:

If you fall down serve times, get up eight times. You don't fail unless you quit! - Fred Ingle

Some thoughts that I hold important to me that keep me centered on success: ‘Begin as you mean to continue’. A powerful message to me that sheds light on positivity vs negativity; the good in life vs the bad in life, etc. you choose how you want to design you path in life. A great mentor once told me: Success is not final and failure is not fatal: it is how you choose to continue that counts. - Mary Manriquez

Honestly, in life we know that life is hard and trouble is normal. With that in mind, we have to maneuver through those challenges with Grace. We must give ourselves and other Grace while doing life. Then you set your own personal and professional goals accordingly. We must live in the grace and have faith in ourselves and others to help get you to where you want to be. Living a life full of love and determination to gain an advantage of what you want to become personally and professionally. Once you do that, in my opinion you are successfully doing life in which you were created to do! - Misti Williams

Develop good habits. For me, if we develop good habits and repeat them is a good way to succeed. - Mary Gamboa

Success to me is getting to a point that you are less stressed, less worried, and you have met your goals and objectives that matter the the most, and having an overall sense of accomplishment within yourself. - Tanya Mota Rojas

Let go of the past, so it doesn't negatively affect your future. - Dionna Stanford- Trice

Be the energy you want to attract. - Mike Penn

I subscribe to Earl Nightingale’s definition of success. He describes success as “the progressive realization of a worthy ideal”. To me, this implies that if I make a steady progress towards my goals, the inevitable outcome will be Success. - Pearl Harry

Success for me is being able to remain positive despite the challenges in life when I can smile in those difficult moments and still be kind.

Success, most importantly, is when I can make a difference in the lives of others, helping them meet their maximum potential. - Rubitha Logan

To me, success looks like alignment between my personal mission and values, skills/strengths, goals, and day-to-day actions. I know I'm doing well when my actions further my goals, I achieve my goals using my signature strengths, and I achieve these goals with these strengths in a way that both reflects my values and helps me make good on my purpose :) Tips: - Find your purpose - your reason for being and reason for doing anything - Acknowledge and hone your personal skills and strengths - Identify how to use these skills to work towards your goals - Ensure your goals align with your purpose :) - Tony Tijerino

Success for me is as simple as: 1) Waking up in the morning, setting those intentions and executing each one to the best of your ability. 2) Stepping out on faith even when all odds are against you. 3) Yelling back at that inner voice that tells you “You Can’t” 4) Positively impacting those around you and sowing into the lives of others. - Gladys Pasols

1. Positively impacting the lives of my team members 1 person at a time 2. Setting professional goals and accomplishing them (i try to encourage others to do the same) 3. Ability to wake up knowing I have a job and a purpose in life... it is a very rewarding feeling to me! - Kourtney Hamrick

Understand the obstacles and embrace the challenges with positive attitude. - Sampoorna Ramakrishna

Thank you friends!
