The one (million) thing(s).
It sounded better in my head.
I never realised before that thoughts don't have punctuation.
Maybe I'm not the grammar nazi I always thought myself to be!
Anyhoo...
After speaking about simplicity and complexity earlier, I thought I'd delve deeper.
With our experience of life being a combination of mind and body (setting aside spirit for the sake of the example)...
Simplicity can a product of our decision to break down a task or project into smaller components.
We can take a business with a million moving parts, and choose to focus on one aspect in this moment.
That is how we make progress.
Focus. Complete. Repeat.
Our body, which cannot imagine, is subjected to what is and what the mind projects upon it.
The body is where time exists, because time only exists in space.
(our mind does not have this limitation)
So it occurred to me that, in addition to choice, time is another factor in the simple/complex spectrum.
Every single thing that you think of as easy, took hundreds if not thousands of days for you to master.
Throwing a rock is easy, right?
I haven't seen a kid under 4 years old that can throw a stone more than 20 feet.
It took you years to discern words, tell when someone lies, know how to not walk into the fucking street.
Even our ability to choose and understand what we were choosing, took (I would argue) billions and billions of complex interactions.
Thoughts, feelings, emotions and experiences all blended and tested over the course of our lives.
So, don't worry (be happy), if anything appears to be in your way...
Simplify and take action or sit on your arse and wait.
I recommend the action thingy... means you don't have to wait so long ??
