One Million & Growing

Dark Times, Tough times these are the constant words that chime into our ears. Everyone goes through difficult times, Who does not? But then to come out of those times requires a steely resolve, a mental making that is not very easy to develop and withstand. Let me tell you a Kutty Story.

It was the time two years ago when the first wave of Covid had hit us and life had come to a standstill for the entire humanity, it was as if time stood still as a new pandemic pretty much unheard of until that time shook up the entire human race. Lock downs, Deserted streets, Shut down businesses, pin drop silence, no movement on the roads, no noise at all except for that of the ambulance passing by carrying yet another Covid Patient. My mind was numbed and to be frank at a loss of both words and ideas on the way to go forward.

It was at such a time that the Big Boss Ashwin Ravi came up with an idea of starting a YouTube channel. One Episode led to another, One Hope led to another. It was never started with an intention of monetary benefit but something that would leave us with life's lessons and we can live to fight another day. My son keeps coming up with this word whose short form goes as KT-Knowledge Transfer.

I feel as would other people associated with the channel would agree that Knowledge Transfer has been immense from the start of Ashwins you tube channel. Resilience, Hard Work, Strategy, Team Work, Focus, Success, Inspiration. Ashwin made it look so easy when it never really was but for the scientist it was a customary glance at phone notes, hand written notes and he was ready to deliver impromptu in front of the camera. For Example let us consider the IPL Auction. So Many Teams, So Many Names to remember, who would make it to the final playing Eleven, who are the foreign players to be considered, which Indian Players would make it, Bowlers, Opening Batsmen, Wicket Keepers, Playing Conditions et all at the snap of his fingers, A Total Cricket Connoisseur, A Magician, Someone who was born to eat, sleep and live Cricket. I have been doubly lucky to see all this happening from close quarters from the sidelines and never have i seen the legend consume enormous amounts of time in producing an episode, no Reshoots and as far as possible No Retakes. Shows what and where Passion and Love for a chosen path can take you.

On the other side of the Camera it was amazing work getting churned out episode after episode, Translations, Edits, Background Graphics, the right amount of sounds, The guys at TrendLoud Social media were the Team constantly at it burning the proverbial midnight oil, rain or shine the team was it releasing the episodes on time, each time, every time. However, However there has to be the icing on the cake, the man behind the camera who needs maximum credit for having pulled this off. Hours and hours of holding the camera, preparing notes for the Boss, working with the edit team and finally uploading content on to Youtube, Humongous amount of man hours spent, A Huge Applause for the one and only Sudarshan D who can credited for all the outstanding content and for the channels speedy growth.

Today we stand as a channel humbled by the response of the audience, The One Million Large Family as Ashwin calls it, there's much more to come and the intention of channel remains as it was from day one, KT-Knowledge Transfer, Learn and Entertain.
