ONE main thing you need to change when you want to write your Book...

Let's talk about the ONE main thing you need to change when you want to write a Book:

The common misconception that writing a book is all about filling pages with great content.

If you are an established woman in business looking to boost visibility, a book is not just about the content—it’s about setting it up as your carefully crafted strategy.

Here’s what I mean by that:

In my experience, most authors start by brainstorming ideas, mind mapping them on post it notes and writing chapters without a clear picture of how their book fits into their larger goals.

So, the question is, what is your aim?

What is it you want your book to ‘do’ for you?

If your aim is visibility, this approach can leave your book feeling disconnected from your broader business vision.

Think of it this way: Writing a book without a visibility strategy is like hosting an elegant dinner party but forgetting to send out the invitations.

The food (your expertise) may be incredible, but if no one knows to show up, how will you make the connections you’re craving?

Clients who get my help start with the end goal:

Who do you want to connect with?

What opportunities do you want to attract?

Then we reverse-engineer your book to ensure every chapter, story, and takeaway builds toward that outcome.

For example, if your goal is to become a keynote speaker, your book can showcase signature concepts that leave readers (and event planners) eager to invite you to the stage.

If your aim is to attract high-level clients, your book can present your unique framework as the solution they’ve been searching for.

This is not about cramming a marketing message into every page.

It’s about writing with intentionality, so your book naturally creates conversations and connections that boost your visibility.

Right now I’ve got some spots open to work with clients who want to write a book that’s not just a collection of words but a strategy for lasting impact, if that’s you, let’s chat.

Yes Sigrid de Kaste a book is so much more than content and pages of words. It makes the author credible and visible....among so many other things!

Makes total sense Sigrid. I’ve read books where I feel the objective could have been delivered more succinctly and sense that they’ve added pages or chapters to fill it out.

If any one does not quite get the concept of what you want from your book, try this little trick. Next time you have a meeting, ask yourself first, "what do I want from this meeting?" Then you'll see how focused you are in the meeting on getting what you want from it.
