One ISO, Two ISO… Three ISO or MORE!

We are delighted to begin this month's newsletter by sharing our recent achievements in quality management and information security.

We have successfully completed two separate audits for ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications without a single non-conformance or observation, a true testament to our unwavering dedication to operational excellence and client commitment!

Achieving both ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 is not common among businesses, reflecting our unique position in the industry. Although specific statistics on the number of businesses that hold both certifications simultaneously are not readily available, it is widely acknowledged in the compliance community that managing to uphold the rigorous standards of both these certifications is an impressive accomplishment.

The Highest Standards in Quality and Security

ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems (QMS) and is globally recognised for setting the criteria for ensuring consistency and improvement in various business sectors.

Achieving this certification means we have demonstrated consistent ability to provide services that meet customer and regulatory requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction.

On the other hand, ISO 27001, which focuses on information security management systems (ISMS), gives our clients the reassurance that their data and assets are safe in our hands.

But We’re Not Content With Just 2 ISOs!

In line with our commitment to the environment, we are very proud to announce our plans to achieve ISO 14001.

This certification focuses on effective environmental management systems (EMS) and showcases our dedication to sustainable business practices.

In partnership with the World Land Trust, we are taking concrete steps towards reducing the industry’s environmental impact and promoting sustainability.

Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on our journey to ISO 14001 certification and join us in celebrating our continued success in ISO 9001 and ISO 27001!

Direct Mail Leads to Positive Emotional Connections

New research from Vericast reveals that direct mail forges strong emotional connections with consumers, and that in turn, these lead to a greater tendency to act on calls to action which impact the entire customer journey.

The study finds that a third of people form an emotional bond with direct mail with 58% regarding it as trustworthy.

It goes on to reveal that creating a positive emotional connection is key to engagement. For instance, 53% of respondents look forward to receiving direct mail, compared to 38% for digital ads. Nearly 50% believe that direct mail beats all other media to convey the most genuine impression of the advertiser. Millennials and millennial parents, in particular, find direct mail more personal than any other form of advertising.

The potential of direct mail to drive purchases and donations is significant, with 61% of consumers likely to use it for product research and planning. This inclination is stronger than that for digital ads, underscoring the impactful role of direct mail in the consumer journey.

Direct mail also assists in comparison and purchase/donation decisions, with 64% of consumers finding it easier to use for these purposes than digital alternatives. Memory retention is higher for direct mail than any other channel, facilitating recall when it’s time to buy or donate.

Nearly half of the surveyed group prefer direct mail for learning about products, services and charitable causes, highlighting the medium’s effectiveness in capturing attention and fostering engagement.

This research reinforces what we at The Production Hub have always known – that direct mail offers marketers a cost efficient and effective way to engage with their audience.
