"Sometimes all it Takes is One Extraordinary Intentional Mindset to Redirect Your Direction for the Rest of Your Life" - Fatima Williams
One of the most beautiful values I learnt from many of mentors over the years is that:
"Our Core Self does not need fixing; we just forget how good we are or how good we can become and waste our whole life comparing ourselves to other people."
"If you want more of something, do more of something; we can’t do the same things and expect different results"
Have you ever had a friend introduce you to someone who you really thought would be a waste of your time and it turned out to be life changing?
I met Sidz, my mentor and TAG (Take Action Guru) aka Siddharth Rajsekar after months of persistence from a friend of mine.
And that was a day that will be marked for the rest of my life.
I have had the honor of being coached and inspired by many wonderful people over the years, but he was something unique. The rarest of gems
I say this because while successful people say, "Be Successful, Do this or Do that, but Sidz showed our community exactly how he did it."
“Fix the inputs and the outputs will fix themselves”
He was a living example on the magnitude of impact we can have on a community aligned with one single vision to make each other's lives better.
To Empower Each Other.
I had a hard time taking action or making a decision.
I was burning myself to the ground to the point of burn out. I was stuck in a job I was not being given the right appreciation and renumerations. Does this sound like you?
Siddharth who is college dropout but a life longer learner like me, showed us the power of the values we hold dear to our life. The values our parents or grandparents taught us, the power of an INTENTIONALITY MINDSET.? The basis I build my coaching foundation on.
The power of true love for the people we want to serve in our lives.
The power of IMPLEMENTATION.
For a long time, I was an observer. I watched people on the side-lines. I saw them succeed right in front of eyes. I was so happy for them. Many a times I was instrumental to their path of success. I was proud of my impact.
But I could not figure out why it wasn’t working for me, what was I doing wrong?
And what was I doing wrong?
I was really good at my job but my true love since I was 12 years old was coaching people to their greatness. I had been working myself into the ground, to the point of burnout along with my employees, we slogged for the organisation to succeed yet they were ready to toss valuable employees away like a used mask! I hated staying the job!
Something changed in me that day. A spark had been ignited.
I realized, years into my career working with vulnerable employees abused by such employers. I knew I had to itch to make a change. How though? I felt like I was in the wrong place.
It didn't feel as though I'd made a little mistake somewhere and simply needed to get back on track. It felt like the ground had dropped out from under me.
The very path I'd been on was the wrong one.
And I had no idea who I was any more.
I felt rudderless, lost, floating in?uncertainty.
When your story stops making sense, everything else stops making sense.
These questions would have kept me up at night. But
“Opportunities do not float like clouds in the sky. They're attached to people. If you're looking for an opportunity, you're really looking for a person.”?– Reid Hoffman and Ben Casnocha
I did not appreciate the small successes I had. I did not see, that the little drops were forming a mighty ocean.
Making small changes in our lives can be difficult when people are less likely to reward you for them.
For example, a student who scores 60% presumably cares more than a student who scores 20%, yet teachers consider both students to have failed. A world that warms by 2°C is much more preferable to a world that warms by 2.5°C, but people lump 2°C and 2.5°C together as "bad." As a result, people stop caring when 1.5°C hits, even though meaningful change and progress are possible.
We live in a world that, in many ways has so many opportunities and paths to achieve our goals in life. We live in a golden digital age much better than it was a hundred years ago. Yet most people believe things have gotten much worse.?
It's this kind of thinking that makes it difficult to change people's mindsets and get them to support small changes.
"In order to make real progress, we need to start caring about small changes and rewarding people for making them. Only then will we be able to make the large-scale changes that we so desperately need." Source: O’Brien, E. (2022). I want to thank Brad Aeon, PhD for introducing Brien E through his post today .
Siddharth Rajsekar introduced me to Earl Nightingale and man, that speech was something else. It shook me up from the inside out! Earl Nightingale talked about my favorite book "Man search for himself " by Rollo May and why as a community we conform.
The summary of his speech in two lines.
"We become what we think about". Marcus Aurelius, the great Roman Emperor said; " a man's life is what his thoughts make of it"
"People with goals succeed because they know where they are going. They have the complete journey mapped out and planned."
You can listen to it below
It made me realize "What's wrong with us men & women today?"

“When you focus on fulfilling your life with abundance, your attitude becomes more positive.
You’re better able to control your wins and learn from your failures/mistakes and it becomes so much easier for you to maintain your forward energy and attract the people, resources, and opportunities you need to achieve your Dream Goals in life.
In the process, you become more Intentional, Confident and more likely to try the kind of possibilities that lead to big payoffs.?And your life is filled with Intentionality and becomes so much more fulfilling, abundant, and rewarding as a result.”??????????????????
One of the most beautiful things I learnt from Siddharth is the understanding the results we want to achieve.
Achieving a goal only changes our life for a moment, that win came and went. What we need to focus on, and change are not our results, but the process and systems we use to get those results.
While he was coached by some amazing people I learn from, he was the one who was able to be my TAG (TAKE ACTION GURU) mentor.
“A Quitter never wins, and A Winner never Quits” – Napoleon Hill
Lift this sentence and write it on a piece of paper and post it somewhere, you can see it every day!
We resonated with each other because we shared the same vision in life “To Redefine the Employment & Education System”
No, this is not a one man or woman’s job. You and I alone, can't change the world. We need to do it together as a community.
Remember the crow and the pebble story?
The crow is “YOU AND I”, the pebbles are “our goals and desires in life and the water is the result, success, or happiness” (whatever we want to call it)
In a spell of dry weather, when the Birds could find very little to drink, a thirsty Crow found a pitcher with a little water in it. But the pitcher was high and had a narrow neck, and no matter how he tried, the Crow could not reach the water. The poor thing felt as if he must die of thirst.
Then an idea came to him. Picking up some small pebbles, he dropped them into the pitcher one by one. With each pebble the water rose a little higher until at last it was near enough so he could drink.
In this story we all think like that crow but in Siddharth story he went and called other crows who came and helped out with dropping more pebbles and the water rose up much faster?thus quenching not just his thirst but the thirst of a few more crows who were able to beat the spell of the dry weather.
?I kept throwing one stone at a time to get the water to come up and he showed me the power of community and the impact our coaching can have on one to many.
We live in a time and age where we need more people to be inspired. More of us to take action and more of us to share our successes and failures so others may learn and follow suite.
So don’t wait alone for the water to rise up and quench your thirst. Build a community that shares your vision, align with people who have the same goals and the impact you have will create a ripple effect and that is the legacy you and I must leave behind my friends.

And Remember
Success requires no explanations and Failure permits No alibis but both of them are experiences we need to the journey of greatness we want to be on.
Now remember, even if you have no experience in the path you want to be on, we were all born naked as little babies with nothing to carry into this world but ourselves.
And we learnt to take the first step, speak the first word, and we had our parents and surrounding community as people to guide us on. So, find some who can guide you on your journey to greatness.
Each one of us are learners. We have been learning since the day we stepped foot into this world.
If we can do it as a baby, we can do it now.
Here's to your Intentional Success!
