No one is indispensable, is it?

This year football season ended way too early for Cowboys fans and in our household and we were not very keen on following the season that closely after Dak got injured. BUT the way Tampa Bay Buccaneers rose on the chart, I must say I have never been more excited to see a Super Bowl game!!!
What a season for Buccaneers and for Thomas Edward Patrick Brady. After spending 20 seasons of his career with New England Patriots culminating into six Super Bowl titles, appearing in a record nine Super Bowls, Brady had the perfect opportunity to retire from the game at a peak that any player can ever even dream of reaching. Instead of accepting the possibility of retirement (which many football pundits recommended), he chooses to continue what he loves doing without the fear of outcome (What IF he is unable to perform at the same level) and people’s perception (he was doing well only because of the Patriots team/coach/set up, etc.)
I have to admit that when Brady was playing for the Patriots there was a tint of boredom (predominately driven because the Patriots were winning every year). Even though Brady is back again, I think this is going to be an exciting super bowl game in a long time. I bow to his courage and his story is a great lesson to remind us:
- You are not done until you decide.
- Don’t let your fear of failure stop you from following your heart.
- Get out of your comfort zone, there may be/is a better opportunity waiting for you if you show some courage.
- And yes no one is indispensable, but A Player/A True Leader can make a huge difference in the outcome and performance of the same set of team/people. While Patriots didn't even make it to the playoffs, Buccaneers will be making just their second Super Bowl appearance in team history.
Looking forward to the game tonight!!!
