One heart

One heart

Musing on our one and only:

If I want my heart to be OPEN… I must be open to love.

And if I want it to be WARM… I need to know my heart’s desire because it shows.

If I wish KINDNESS to be at home in my heart… I should gently notice the softest part.

And if I want a BRAVE heart… I need to be with those who have courage in their inner being.

So the question is, what kind of heart do I want… because I only have one.

Pause. See differently. Re-story…

~ yesterday, Dr Carlos Saba shared the last verse from John O’Donohue’s poem, 'For a New Position', that also resonates here:

May your work assume

A proper space in your life;

Instead of owning or using you,

May it challenge and refine you,

Bringing you every day further,

Into the wonder of your heart.

Love this post Sue! We each have one heart. We collectively can be of one heart. Cor Unum. Let it be open, warm, kind, and brave.
