How has your week been? With the boys back at college and school it was quiet in the house but I was busy with client calls, office decorating, getting back to the gym, and with some exciting wins along the way, I'm fired up for a great September. Client Win! This week my big shoutout goes to the super talented illustrator, Sarah Westwood ?? This week, she secured a meet-and-greet with none other than Andi Peters, landed a front-page news story thanks to her quick follow-ups, and now she has a promising TV contact lined up for the festive season. It’s a brilliant example of how timing and tenacity pay off and I am cheering her and Spocket on all the way.
Campaign of the Week
Bringing creativity into campaigns keeps things interesting and fresh, and can help to hit the mark with journalists.
I’m loving the Greggs goes gold collaboration with designer Dion Kitson! He turned the baker’s most iconic menu items into wearable jewellery to mark the 40th London Fashion Week. The catwalk models might avoid grease on their outfits, but they can still wear sausage roll stud earrings, doughnut charms, and even gold pizza slice necklaces.
Not only did it lead to delicious fashion, but media coverage across the board from The Telegraph and Express to Yahoo and beyond.
