One Gone

Continuing on yesterdays theme of the older we get, the faster time goes, and that last month went fast.
Thankfully my girls are back to school today.
I didn’t miss the early 3pm pick ups, but as I’m sure you can attest with your own, that they can get on each others nerves by the end of the holidays even if they are the best of friends most of the time.
Anyways, with today being the first of a new month, it’s a good time to ask the question on how your year has started?
Have you been able to stay on track with any new habits, or fitness goals you set yourself the challenge of achieving this year?
Or has there been a few obstacles that have gotten in the way that might have slowed that progress? I’m not here to judge either way, just to use this start of a new month to ask yourself whether you need to go back to the drawing board and make some new plans with the evidence you have now.
No point continuing on with the same goal if the goalposts have changed.
You’re only setting yourself up for failure if you aren’t reassessing things.
If things are going well though you may not need anything to change.
Just keep doing what you’re doing until that doesn’t work anymore.
Don’t overcomplicate what doesn’t need to be overcomplicated.
Cheers,
Daniel
