ONE FILE, DIFFERENT PRINTERS, DIFFERENT COLORS.

You’re probably familiar with getting varying colors of the same files when using different printers from the same manufacturer. For example, a client comes to you to print 100 labels, 10 posters and 50 stoppers, which are made in the same style with the same color of the background. As always, the order must be done "yesterday", so you send it to different machines to complete the order quickly. It comes as a surprise when the customer returns the entire order for the reason that it has different colors.
We’ve encountered this situation often and this is what our clients face every day, especially when they are working with a smaller client on a permanent basis.
For such customers, we have introduced a special feature on the BIGPRINTER printers that allows for "PASS-THROUGH CALIBRATION" of all the printing equipment that we sell. In this case your colors on different models of BIGPRINTER printers will be as similar as possible, which as you’ll agree, will make both you and your clients happy.

8 年Shouldn't be a problem with good colour management. Common input profile for proofer and all presses. Different output profiles, for each press. And all using same rendering intent.

8 年Allan Andrade, we use different RIP software for this. But i beleive software from Joseph Mergui is good for this issue also. But ussually only knowing how to do that is not help, because you need also knowledge to use it in right way...)
