One day When We Look Back

One day we will look back

Dementia, Heart failure , Astma

I am forever in a fight,

If it's not my legs, like balloons with fluid,

It`s my chest thats Asthma Tight!

Then there's my dementia,

Well, what can i say,

I tell you all that happens,

Each and every day,

From morning through till night,

Week in and week out,

All of this compacts

And really wears me out

Sometimes i sleep in bed,

Sometimes upon my chair,

Reclining back and forth

With both legs in the air,

I try to do my best each day,

To show you all my smiles

But truth be known, what i want to do,

Is run for B****Y MILES,

On top of that is lockdown,

Its plain for all to see,

there won't be that much exercise

For the likes of you and me,

Will we one day all look back?

And laugh about all this,

Whilst hugging all around,

Cos Lockdown we won't miss
