Is it one day or day one for you?
Two simple three-letter words arranged differently. You end up with two phrases with a world of difference between them.
One day is about retreating to continue dreaming.
Day one is about resolving to start doing.
One day or day one is the difference between continuing to give excuses instead of moving to #execution. We're not talking about deliberate, calculated and justifiable delays here.
Consider each in turns.
One day.
In the book, 'The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth', author and thought-leader John Maxwell writes about the Law of Diminishing Intent, "The longer you wait to do something you should do now, the greater the odds that you will never actually do it."
"The longer you wait to do something you should do now, the greater the odds that you will never actually do it." - John Maxwell
The longer you delay, the higher the likelihood of not doing something you should. You end up settling down to excuses: I will move forward tomorrow, next week/month/year; when the time is right; when I have more time; when I have more money; when I get a promotion; when I start my business; when I settle down... and the list of excuses is endless.
It's a lie. And a deadly trap. It lulls you to avoid taking action.

Day one.
You make up your mind to move forward despite not feeling motivated, inspired or ready. There's great value in this.
Actor, comedian and musician Hugh Laurie says: "It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready. I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything. There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now. And you may as well do it now. Now is as good a time as any." Take #action before you're ready.

Today, will you continue dreaming or start doing?
Will you retreat to excuses or resolve to #execute?
I'll ask once more: one day or day one?
You decide.
