The one core question that will ease your decision-making...

Running a business is full to bursting with things you SHOULD be doing, COULD be doing, MIGHT look at, WANT to focus on, choices, options, ideas, DECISIONS left right and centre.

?

It’s EXHAUSTING

It’s OVERWHELMING

It’s ENERGY SUCKING

?

You need to create content, post it on a few hundred different platforms, engage, connect, and comment. You need to be sending a newsletter out every week, every day, every hour, and networking till the sun goes down.

?

Then there is all those follow-ups of people who opened your newsletter, people you met at networking, leads, calls, meetings, emails, DM’s.

?

You need to keep your website up to date, but not with any old crap, you need to have nailed your ideal client and got your messaging right.

?

You're selling, you’re creating, you’re working on your free thing, you’re trying to get speaking gigs.

?

Oh and then there is your actual job, you know, the thing you actually do, your client delivery!!!!!

?

On top of all this you’ve got me banging on about how you need to spend time planning, you’d also quite like to go on that course to make sure you’re up to date knowledge wise!

?

The thing about having all these options, is that they all sound good don’t they!!!!!

?

They all feel important

They all feel pretty urgent

?

But,

?

Which options will help you reach your goals?

Do you have clearly defined goals?

Do you know what a good result would be for you?

?

Having really clear goals to work towards makes navigating all these decision points so much easier, because you have a core question to ask that can help you.

?

Does this thing move me closer to my goals?

?

Yes or No?

?

If it’s a yes, plan it in.

?

If it’s a no, sack it off, with confidence, knowing that particular thing is not right for you.

?

It might be right for someone else, but it’s not right for you.

?

When I work with clients to set their goals, we work on a couple of key areas.

?

  1. Define your long-term vision
  2. Identify core milestones each year that will be the stepping stones to that vision
  3. Give yourself smaller monthly targets that will help you reach each milestone.

?

Once you have this clear,

?

It will be clearer which of the million possible tasks you COULD do, are the ones you SHOULD do.

?

This will make it easier to make decisions, because you can make the call based on that 1 key question – will this take me closer to those milestones?

?

I’m running a free webinar on the 2nd April at 12 noon and then again at 8pm, where I will share with you the planning process I use with clients that will help them identify these milestones, and plan the smaller monthly targets that get them there.

?

For more info on this, DM me “Process Webinar” and I’ll send all the details over.

?

Take care,

Bex
