One of Cincinnati's largest real estate firms names new president

Dick Williams should be a familiar face to many in Cincinnati. After all, he did spend 14 years with the Cincinnati Reds as president of baseball operations.

Williams also has real estate in his blood. His family's business, North American Properties, has acquired, developed and managed more than $7 billion in retail, multifamily, mixed-use and office properties around the United States since its founding in 1954.

Williams joined the family business , where his uncle is CEO and father chairs the board, in 2020. And now he has a new role: Just this week NAP announced that Williams is the new president of the commercial real estate giant , alongside the promotion of another real estate veteran.

One of OTR's pioneering restaurants closes for good

It's hard to remember now, but when chefs like Daniel Wright or Jean-Robert de Cavel opened up now-legendary eateries in Over-the-Rhine in the late 2000s, people thought they were crazy. The $48 million renovation of Washington Park wouldn't take place until 2012, and the park prior to that was not the family-friendly place it is now.?Zula?opened catty corner to the park that same year. Now, after nearly 10 years in business,?that restaurant is closed .
