It's just one chapter.
Some chapters are long. Some are short.
Some winters are long. Some are short.
But just like there are never two winters in a row, there are NEVER two chapters in a row that are exactly the same.
Look, this current chapter of my life-story began in 2009. On the tail end of the chapter of my massive rise, there began the chapter of my massive crash, humbling and awakening.
This chapter is coming to a close. It's been a 11 YEAR LONG chapter. But I feel the pages turning.
And I'm a better human being, teacher, and mentor for it.
So will YOU be as well.
On the peak you enjoy the view and you appreciate all the work you've done to climb.
In the valley you learn to get back up and climb again.
On the peak if you're not careful you think it's going to last forever and you forget to be grateful for the TEMPORARY high.
NO CHAPTER LASTS FOREVER!
No chapter makes an entire book and story.
So if you're on the mountain top right now enjoy and appreciate it. You've earned it.
If you're in the valley right now enjoy and appreciate it. You're getting an education for your future climb.
And I promise you'll be better equipped for an EVEN BIGGER peak as a result.
In the valley you're writing the chapter that makes the story exciting.
NO ONE wants to read a book or see a movie where someone is just standing on top of the mountain the entire book...
There's no adventure, no excitement, no drama, no tension... and no ultimate VICTORY!
Write It, Live It, Use It! Both the ups and downs.
