Our approach and ideology is nothing short of transformative! Everything we do at DOSS is to challenge the status quo. To effectively accomplish our mission and vision as we see it for the real estate industry, the focus and obsession at DOSS revolves around three(3) key words: BETTER. FASTER. SMARTER.

DOSS is built based-on and backed-by statistical data. It has taken many years and countless conversations with some of the brightest minds in the real estate industry to arrive at this moment. Several problems were placed on the table that we believe the real estate industry collectively has, as we began to surgically pull back the layers to analyze and solve antiquated problems as we quantitatively saw fit. As we began to assemble our real estate marketplace, we vividly realized that two very important verticals independently of each other had to be created to solve problems that we wanted to address. In the United States, there are approximately 2.5M people with a real estate license. 1.3M of those with a real estate license are REALTORS? who have joined a local, state, and national association. The remaining 1.2M people with a real estate license are Non-REALTORS? that are referred to as Real Estate Agents. Although interchangeably used by the general public(REALTOR? versus Real Estate Agent), the real estate industry internally looks at these two groups as separate entities. As a matter of fact, at the national level, they are spending REALTOR? Membership dollars on advertising campaigns to make sure the consumer knows the difference between the two sides.
At DOSS, we methodically and strategically decided to create a REALTOR? brand(DOSS Pros) and a Real Estate Agent brand(DOSS Social Agents). The value proposition for both brands are interchangeable, yet independently mobilizes the idea that we can empower the practitioner via their highest and best use to better serve and facilitate the needs of a modern day consumer that wants the best product and/or service, at a fair price. However, for our REALTORS? and Real Estate Agents, in order to make this possible it has to start with DOSS. We had to change and create what we believe a brokerage should be, what a brokerage should provide, what a brokerage represents, the cost, the support, the systems, the technology, etc… Internally, we had to rewrite the rules based on our perspective and how we interpreted the data.
DOSS Pros
We call our REALTORS? at DOSS Pros, techAGENTS. We believe that in order to build and sustain a new standard, we wanted to define ourselves for ourselves. As you will see on our DOSS Pros website, we outlined what makes a techAGENT unique in comparison to a standard REALTOR?. Yes, we are REALTORS?! However, across the board, we’ve set a higher standard for our techAGENTS. At DOSS, we sought out to really understand “What REALTORS? want?” in the pursuit of giving them exactly everything they need to be successful. From a competitive business model to turn-key tech tools, our techAGENTS make more money by saving people money!
DOSS Social Agents
We call our Real Estate Agents at DOSS Social Agents, Social Agents. We expect DOSS Social to become the largest brokerage in the country via headcount by the end of 2025. This large sector of Agents are the most vulnerable, don’t have tech tools, don’t have access to the MLS, doesn’t have support, doesn’t have the leverage of a premier nationwide brand, and is for the most part an unknown option for “no and low producing” REALTORS? that need and want an alternative to quitting. They’ve worked too hard to get their real estate license! However, they are not closing enough transactions to justify continuing to pay Traditional Brokers and their REALTOR? Associations monthly, quarterly, and yearly dues/fees that are in thousands of dollars. As you will see on our DOSS Social website, this vertical gives Real Estate Agents(Non-REALTORS?) a brand that they can be proud to work with, a brand that gives them tech-tools, a brand that sets them apart from other Real Estate Agents, a brand that eliminates all the high cost that comes with being a REALTOR?, a brand that keeps their real estate license active for FREE, a brand that empowers them to keep generating revenue by strategically referring their Co-Workers, Family, and Friends to proven REALTORS? that will get the job done right!

4 年Super smart move. A colleague and mentor of mine John Reinhardt saw this same aspect years ago in NYC. Back then he called them "referral agents" but you are on point to consider this as a national play. It's a long tail that no one wants to serve, interesting to see this play out! good luck!
