One Bite at a Time

So many professionals I know want to write a book to share their passion and skill with the world. And they have built it up in their mind that it is the HUGE undertaking. They want to pour everything they know into a monster compendium of their specialized knowledge.

My advice is the same for getting that first book done, as it is when eating an elephant. Start with one bite at a time.

Pick the BIGGEST PROBLEM that you help people solve and create a short book, LASER FOCUSED on that one outcome.

It will be short, targeted to someone with a specific need, and you can show them how to fix it. THAT IS THE PAYOFF FOR THE READER that positions you as the expert.

I'm going to work with a small group of professionals in early November and we are going to create a Problem SOLVING book that will attract their ideal customer, and establish their expertise.
