One of my business coaching clients was upset with not gaining permission to use their logo and banner at an upcoming trade show they will attend.
Listening to their narrative about this logo banner problem, I kept thinking they were more focused on being upset about their failure to be able to show the banner rather than finding a solution.
During the first ten minutes of our business coaching session, I asked many questions, and they figured out how to gain permission to show the banner.
It was not my brilliance that gave them the solution. It was them shifting their focus to finding the answer.
When they shifted their focus from the failure to finding the solution, bingo, answers.
Failure is 100% necessary in business.
All successful individuals have failed.
I owned a successful business for 40 years and sold it four years ago.
All my friends, family, and customers told me what a great success I was.
The lawyer who handled the buyer's concerns shared that he had never witnessed a more effortless closing than this one in managing the sales of thousands of businesses over 45 years. He shared with me that I was a success.
After a six-month vacation, I jumped back into business and immediately failed at the two new companies I started.
Failure is 100% necessary.

“Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that count.”
?A quote from Winston Churchill
Yet, through those failures and lessons, you learn how to succeed.
No one is great at the get-go, hits a home run at their first at-bat, or scores a success overnight.
NO-ONE.
Yet failure is part of your journey, and it is better to embrace the moment of failure and write it down.
Why, what, when, how, and who to make sure you don’t do that failure again.
You'll be able to do it.
Roll with the punches of failure, get up, brush yourself off, and return to the game.
Failure. is part of your success.
Remember to believe in yourself.
