ONE of ONE is Back, plus a WNC Update!

I hope everyone enjoyed their extra hour of sleep this weekend! And all those with young kids who ignored the time reset are assuredly extra annoyed to start the week :) Either way, I am glad it's not pitch dark as kids are waiting for buses/going to school in the morning!

WNC Relief?

A quick update on our WNC Relief Sweatshirts...thanks to all of you who purchased one, we raised over $4,000 for WNC relief ??. The sweatshirts are all in production, and we look forward to them arriving in the next couple of weeks. We did make a few extras as well and will have them for sale at our OMJ store while inventory lasts.

ONE of ONE

With the start of November, we are bringing back one of my favorite events...the ONE of ONE Bespoke event. What is One of One you ask? Like its namesake, we have select fabrics sourced from some of the best mills in the world that are no longer in production and have just enough to make only ONE garment. So, when you design a garment from one of these fabrics, you will be the only OMJ customer creating a garment from it...a truly ONE-OF-A-KIND piece. Make a suit, jacket, or overcoat you can truly say no one else has! ? This event is first come, first serve, so schedule an appointment today in-store (or virtually for those outside of Charlotte) so that you don't miss out on owning a truly unique piece!

• Watch: Our friends at Biltmore put out this very inspiring video about re-opening on November 2nd. It's got everything...nostalgia, Christmas, perseverance, and a narrator that reminds me of the late James Earl Jones (RIP). So glad to see this,?
• Attend: Filipe and I are excited and honored to be headed back to Garden & Gun's Made in the South Awards in Charleston SC! Winning the style award in 2018 was a huge jumping-off point for OMJ, and we certainly owe a ton of our success today to the doors that were opened because of it. We will be there with many other past winners and invite anyone to join! If you are going to be in Charleston, RSVP HERE to attend! We will be on stage talking about all things clothing on Saturday!
• Vote: Tomorrow (11/5) is Election Day. Make sure you go Vote! I am sure it will be a crazy day...or week. Regardless of which side of the aisle you are on, I think I speak for many when I say I am glad it will all be over. Finally, all the spam calls will be gone, and the terrible ads will be finished. Life can continue! During election season, our business sees a slowdown...I get it, it's front and center to everyone the many things that are way more important than... um...clothing ??. I am looking forward to things returning to a semblance of normal!
• AI: Every week, I'll share insights on Artificial Intelligence (the good and the bad) and how we, or other businesses, can leverage it. Well, folks, I am going back to school to master AI. I am officially attending Cornell, to be exact. Jokes aside (of which I will no doubt annoyingly consider myself an Ivy League attendant...I am only partially serious. It is a multi-month online certificate program (far from a degree)...but I will no doubt learn a ton...and get to joke about being a "Cornell Man" in the process...win win!
