“Providing a brilliant festival and experience for everyone in the community has always been at the forefront of our goals”
Attitude is Everything is an organisation committed to connecting disabled people with live music events. Now, its Live Events Access Charter for 2023-2025 has recognised the accessibility commitment made by Love Saves the Day (LSTD) festival.
Viewing platforms, accessible parking, lowered bars, a sensory calm space and the option to register for a personal assistant ticket are just some of the ways the event’s accessibility team, which consists of people with their own special requirements, are improving the festival’s offering.?
Tom Paine is festival director at LSTD and told EventIndustryNews that “We’ve done our research into what constitutes best practice and we always welcome feedback from genuine experiences. He continued: “Achieving the Silver Level certification is a fantastic way for people to know that we want to create an inclusive space where everyone is welcome” ?
At Ticketpass, we love to highlight events, people and charities that are doing good work for their community. Check out our handpicked selection of Bristol-based organisations that are doing just that.
