Once Upon The Time ... A Wise Man

Once Upon The Time ... A Wise Man

Very early in my coaching career I learned how valuable metaphors, analogies and the likes are; not only because of the profound messages and lessons that come with them but because of how good they are for thought provoking that lead my clients to better understand life, their circumstances and themselves, guiding them to results and solutions: this is how powerful they are, short and longer but so excellently expressed and structured and with such valuable meanings and the insights they can bring.

Only yesterday did I realize the real reason why I find them of such value and -of course!! I owe it to my Grand Master, from when I was an infant to this age and date: My Dearest and Most Beloved FATHER. From here once again My Loving, Most Affectionate Thank you, my Dear Papa - and worth the redundancy, dear colleagues and comrades: those who know me are aware of How Very Much I Love Him and those who don't I take it that you've already realized it as he is deserving of my shouting out to the whole world at large!! :)

And with reference -and Reverence- to the Increasing reach and popularity in terms of GRATITUDE and all its 'sub-modalities' :) all of which totally agree with me, again My Great Se?or, My Master -My Dearest Father -who I commend- has always been the one who has taught me -with his forever example- not only about Gratitude but how to Always Be Grateful -worth the redundancy- starting with a verse with powerful message that has been deeply 'engraved' in me throughout my life and goes like this: "Once upon the time ...

"Once upon the time .... there was a Wise man who felt so poor and miserable, only feeding himself with the weed and herbs he found in his way as he walked, very sad. Could there be anyone else -he thought to himself- poorer and more miserable than me? and when he turned around he found the answer when he saw another Wise man picking up the weeds he had just thrown out of his mouth"

He taught me to recite this short but powerful verse and every time I cried or silly complained as a little girl -and older- for any nonsense, he would always encourage me to recite the above verse next to him and at the end of reciting it together, he would then say to me:

"Every time you complain or think about complaining about something -anything, always remember the Wise man and know that when you 'think' of experiencing 'scarcity' however big you 'think' it is: look back and remember that there is always someone who has less and less than that person and less than the next and less and ... less: Be therefore ALWAYS Grateful my little one for ALL that you have, particularly when you 'think' (it's just a thought) that you 'lack' something because you really don't lack anything: we come into this world with nothing and with nothing we leave."

How true, fellas, isn't it? How true and worth the redundancy again. Over time too, I have been coming to the realization that My Great Father has Always been even WisER than he has been given credit for and this is the reason I want everybody to know about Him, His Special Wisdom, His Teachings.

That was Not the end of the verse and the Teaching: the text is longer, it being an excerpt from the Fragment of 'Life is a Dream' by the Great Spanish writer Pedro Calderón de la Barca. And the full text of the fragment can be found in this post that I created and personally translated, as the automatic translation does Not give it justice. I created the accompanying post above mentioned to not downplay the true reason why I have written this work, for the real reason is to continuously Pay Tribute to this Exemplary Great Man who has given me life, always teaching -and Being- of such Goodness, GReatness, Integrity, Honesty ... -the list goes on and on ... and Most Importantly with and by His Own Example. The Man who Walks his Talk: My DearEST and Most Beloved Father.

Once more, this work is coming from my heart. I hope you love it too, for my Father is again My Inspiration.

Good Night, Everyone <3

I read you are a proud loving Father hence I hope you are always loved by your children as much as I Love my Daddy. Even if this msg is not Professional, it comes from my heart plus ... it's Saturday! after all ;) and you now have a special place in both our hearts -my daddy's and mine <3
