Once Upon A Time, I Made A Perfect Roti

After one month of marriage, I served an overcooked (slightly burned, I would say) chapati to my mother-in-law. Though she didn't say anything but that embarrassment was making me want to hide somewhere. #NewlyWedThings

Before that, I had never given any attention to the PROcedure of making a perfect chapati. But after that, this was the only thing that I wanted to master. 

After a few weeks, I went to my parent's house for some days. One day while helping mom with breakfast preparation, I also observed how she was making round and PROperly cooked chapatis.

Put a small ball on dry flour and press slightly from both sides.

Now, shake it off a little and put it on the rolling board.

Using a rolling pin, start rolling from middle and then from corner to give it a round shape. (It’s ok even if it's not round, we don't body shame. We are good humans, are we?)

While rolling, remember to put ???????????????? ??????????????????.

Once your chapati is round. Put it on your hand, dramatically clap for a while (celebration baby celebration), and put it on the griddle which was set on low heat while you were trying to make your chapati curvylicious.

Now, increase the heat to medium to slightly cook the chapati from both sides.

Then, increase the heat and ?????? ???? ???????? ???????? ?????? ?????? ???? ???????? ????????.

When chapati is filled with air, press it a little using tongs and flip it until it gets cooked from all sides. 

Woah! There you go, your perfectly cooked round chapati is ready to be served.
