There was a little girl, a speck of a thing that had a big voice and big energy, who lost her dad when she was 8 years old. A pretty major life event to experience before you've learnt how to ride a bike or tie your shoelaces.
Her mum was pregnant with her brother, and together with her two sisters, experienced childhood a little differently to most of her friends. The day started with cups of tea to wake her mum up, who because of the grief, didn't really like waking up anymore.
Then it was time to tidy and clean the house, while helping to look after her brother and sisters. Sometimes she would make books and models with paper, if she had the time, whilst reading books...she read lots of books.
She read Matilda by Roald Dahl and watched fairy tales like Cinderella, believing that if she worked really hard, she could re-write her own story.
So, she wrote. Pages and pages in her diary, that she kept locked and hidden. Sharing all of her deepest worries and biggest dreams.
She worked hard, probably a little too hard, trying to escape what was happening at home.
She decided to settle into a safe job of working in the health and social care sector and was promoted to manager at 25, the youngest manager they had had at the company, before becoming redundant at 27 and taking a risk on a new career in education. On the side she was creating jewellery and accessories, supporting the creative spark that she had before her dad died.
Writing over forty letters to schools across the county, she was offered a job as an unqualified health and social care teacher. Quickly she learnt that her love of maths would steer into the direction of teaching it, leaving health and social care behind.
Before she knew it, she was an assistant headteacher, working around 70-80 hours a week, overseeing support for the most disadvantaged students in the school. Children that used to be her.
She decided to undertake a masters degree in Leadership of Inclusion, specialising in trauma informed education, and it was while doing her research project, she discovered how to create Warrior Energy.
During maternity leave, her creative spark came back in a huge way, and another business was born. This time, she knew what she was doing and it grew in a way that meant she was working even longer hours. But every time she made her wire art, it felt like the best joy ever.
Until one day, when it felt like all the planets aligned in the most perfect way, she left her safe-bread-winning job and poured all of her courage into being a full time business owner.
And then the tsunami of negative thoughts, unworthiness and doubt pounded into her. Everything she had managed to stuff away and numb with too much alcohol and being busy with work and drama, couldn't be ignored anymore.
So, out came her research from her masters degree and she starting working on transforming her worrier energy into Warrior Energy.
The business grew even more, and then she was asked the best question ever:
"How do I grow my business like yours?"
And coaching business owners began. She realised that she had been doing this work all along. Supporting people to become the best versions of themselves and helping them to get closer to their dreams and growing their self-belief, no matter what they had been through.
A place was missing for people like them and her and so The Vivid Business Club was born; because if it's possible for her, it's possible for anyone.
As you have probably guessed, the she is me...
I have been able to turn my pain into power. When I show you and teach you that transforming your doubts into self-belief is possible, I know it is.
I am on a mission to make you believe that anything is possible for you.
