Once Again, Cleveland Clinic is the No. 2 Hospital in the World

For the seventh year in a row, I am exceptionally proud to report that Newsweek has ranked Cleveland Clinic the No. 2 hospital in the world.

This recognition is a direct reflection of our 83,000 caregivers, who form the heart and soul of our global organization. Their dedication, compassion and commitment to excellence are the pillars of Cleveland Clinic care. Every day, they answer the call to serve those in need.

Being a caregiver carries a tremendous sense of purpose, and our patients inspire us to stop at nothing short of excellence.

Newsweek also recognized Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (No. 172) and Cleveland Clinic Fairview (No. 225) among the Top 250 hospitals in the world.

In addition to the worldwide rankings, six Cleveland Clinic locations are listed among the?best hospitals in the United States: Cleveland Clinic (2), Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital (37), Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital (48), Cleveland Clinic Akron General (81), Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital (92) and Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital (299). Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is ranked the No. 1 hospital in the United Arab Emirates.

At Cleveland Clinic, we believe there is no limit to the amount of good we can do for patients.

While I’m sure the clinic has much to celebrate , It’s a shame that an institution of this magnitude, does not educate consumers and offer some of the best technology in Orthopedic care . They limit their orthopedoc implant offerings to 2 chosen vendors that offer the best price, not the best product , in return for increased volume . Great business model for the hospital not the best for the patients. Patients are getting world class orthopedic technology at small community hospitals and and surgery centers yet they don’t have access to it at this “world class” facility ??
