Onboarding with a Twist
No matter where you're at in your career, one of the most memorable things that stand out at a company is your onboarding experience. This year, unlike any other before, completely changed up everything. Instead of bringing new hires into the office, we had to do everything virtually.
Recently, our India Campus Recruitment Team onboarded a new class of Interns. With the latest class, the team wanted to do something different and unique to Informatica. To change things up, the team decided to include the parents in the process.
So how did it go? We asked a few Interns and their parents that very question. Here's what they had to say:

"The onboarding session was unique, and a great initiative. It really helped to bridge the gap between the family members and the Informatica team. It was an amazing experience to witness the happiness that everyone was experiencing."

"My first day at Informatica was filled with so many emotions. The team made me feel more than welcome to join the company. The best part was the session with our parents. It was such a great idea to involve new interns' parents, which showed innovation and empathy. The interaction gave a sense of pride as well as a satisfaction to my parents. We also engaged in some fun activities that helped to break the ice amongst everyone."
