OnAgile 2017 - back to basics baby!

OnAgile 2017 - back to basics baby!

Many organizations adopting agile and lean practices are drawn to frameworks and scalable enterprise tooling. But what makes really agile tick is sticking to the basics - focus on supporting teams to build awesome products that customers love. The basics are captured in the 4 simple values and 12 timeless principles that formed the Agile Manifesto.

This year, OnAgile, the annual Agile Alliance online conference, is focused on digging deeper into basics from the manifesto. There is an impressive line-up of well known agile speakers including Ellen Gottesdiener, Jeff Patton, David Hussman, Roman Pichler, Ardita Karaj, Jeff 'Cheezy' Morgan and many others.

I have attended all the OnAgile events so far because the quality is high and the cost is so low at $79 USD. This can be especially valuable to people outside of North America where travel costs and visa challenges can be barriers to listening to these speakers. Since all the sessions are recorded you can choose to watch them when it is convenient for you and your team.

One thing you could do at your organization is watch sessions as a team and debrief together. This is a great way to learn and adapt together!

Hope to see you there!
