Omnidian Australia - update

In the leadup to #AllEnergyAU, I thought now might be a great time to update everybody on the work we've been doing to launch Omnidian in Australia.

2022 - setting the strategy

We started exploring market entry in early 2022. Australia was a leading candidate for the first international expansion of Omnidian, but we needed to develop a viable "go to market" strategy. As the world's leading residential solar market (per capita), we decided that Australia would be a great place to hone our residential product and delivery model.

2023 - our first wins

In early 2023 we began operations. Daniel Kurz at Infinite Energy put his faith in Omnidian and signed up as our first client. Not only did Infinite Energy provide us with our first portfolio of assets to manage, but several members of the Infinite Energy service team also joined the Omnidian family. We were off and running. By the end of this year we'll have closed more than 1,000 service tickets which is a great milestone for the team.

One of the great satisfactions of this role is the 5-star reviews we receive from customers. There is nothing better than taking a bad situation like an angry customer with a broken solar system and turning it into a 5-star review.

2024 - adding new partners

We recently onboarded Positive Energy Solutions Pty Ltd , a fast-growing solar retailer led by a dynamic young team.

In 2024 we plan to add a handful of new clients. I've spoken to a lot of solar retailers who understand the difficulty of providing great customer service. It's specialised work and it requires a big investment in people, process and systems. We've designed our service to meet these needs. As an added bonus, partnering with Omnidian is cash-flow positive for your solar retailing business.
