Welcome to this eleventh edition of The Omnibenevolence Council? Newsletter!
(This edition is to expand your awareness about the topics we talked about in the previous newsletters and to open up to new perspectives.)
On the Seeds of Abundance (Part 7)
How Can We Overcome Crises Of Consciousness?
Depending on where we look, a crisis seems to be lurking in our purview. It either has to do with countries or peoples fighting one another over territory, resources or cultural differences. Or it has to do with personal stories about individuals done great injustice or about self-inflicted madness due to the heavy burdens of life.
What’s underneath it all though, is what we can capture in one word: consciousness. Whether it is consciousness about pro-actively causing things and events, or consciousness about not knowing why these things happen in the first place, there is at least some consciousness that brings it all together in one purview.
How then can we overcome these crises in consciousness so its natural state of peace perpetuated can finally flourish again? (also see Newsletter #10 on How Can We Have Peace Perpetuated)
In this edition we’ll attempt to take up this question from an encompassing view, for as far as that’s possible. This requires a clear set of definitions first, with the note that a definition is not final. It is something to work with, in a similar fashion as we work with our consciousness. Which begs the first question…
What is consciousness?
Consciousness is a term used to describe insights in the workings of the mind. But this would only shift the question to ask for a definition of mind. A definition of mind could then be that it is that which thinks. Thus, mind and consciousness interrelate in terms of thought.
Thought would then be the active processing of powers, forces, impressions and ideas in the form of emotions, feelings and thoughts. Thoughts then formed together in the active processing is what we call ‘thinking’. Thus, thinking and consciousness interrelate in terms of processing.
We now have the basic elements to form a clear definition of consciousness. Consciousness is: The processing of thoughts by means of thinking through the workings of the mind.
If there’s a crisis then, that would mean that something is not working well, that something is not being processed according to the appropriate settings of the natural existence of consciousness. Which begs the next question…
What is a crisis?
Crisis is a term used to describe insights in the way that something is not working well. But this would only shift the question to ask for a definition of what a well working way would be. A definition of a well working way could then be that it is that which has a proven track record. Thus, well working way and crisis interrelate in terms of record.
Record would then be the active chronicle of workings, events, ways and stories in the form of narratives, inscriptions and memoranda. Memoranda then formed together in the active chronicle is what we call ‘history unfolding’. Thus, history unfolding and crisis interrelate in terms of chronicling.
We now have the basic elements to form a clear definition of crisis. Crisis is: The chronicling of unfolding history by means of memoranda which aren’t working well. Which begs the next question…
Why are crises a matter of consciousness?
Crises are a matter of consciousness because it is consciousness that’s processing the elements of the definitions. And as we saw, if that processing is not working well, we chronicle a crisis.

This can happen both internally in the privacy of one’s own consciousness as well as in the large visible effects on the world stage.
The crises we thus currently experience are an effect of some sort of crisis in consciousness that’s expressing itself. But this would also mean that it can be overcome, merely already by a shift in consciousness. Which begs the next question…
How to create a Consciousness of Benevolent Abundance now?
From the above encompassing considerations we can now derive at least an attempt to begin a chronicle of benevolent abundance within consciousness. And so far, this series of newsletters has given seeds to do so. Which begs the next question… What will you do with them?
There’s a well working way that could help in overcoming crises in consciousness. So if you want to co-create this new chronicle of consciousness for benevolent abundance then you’re invited.
