OMG What a Week.

OMG What a Week.

OMG, What a week.

Well, we had a great member business meeting on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – fabulous content.  It was in a gorgeous setting – with a meeting room overlooking the lake – in Keystone, Colorado.    Huge focus on client satisfaction, and as always extensive focus on making sure you’re really focused on NET Profit.   Next, lots and lots of focus on marketing efforts A-Z.

We did a lot of work on the best approaches for creating google traffic (Search and Pay-Per-Click,) what’s working in Facebook and LinkedIn and more.   Next we focused on significant “community outreach” opportunities.   Rounding prospects up in big groups rather than one-by-one with step by step on who to approach, how to line up, and the specific methodologies.

I could go on and one, but needless to say we covered a lot of ground.  The feedback has already been incredibly positive.

A couple of my Advisor Clients Peter (NW Mutual) and, Brian (RIA) each lined up over 12 or appointments in one hour this week from that one approach.

Then without taking a breath or even unpacking, I headed to the airport and shepherded 2, 13 year olds around Universal Studios – Orlando for the week.

Oh geez.

My feet heart.   Pretty much every inch from the waist down is sore.  I’m sure I have PTSD from the rides that the coerced me into getting on – something called “Tower of Doom,” and some horrible roller coaster/water ride monstrocity.

I absolutely detest rides.  Would rather have a root canal rather than ride a roller coaster much less something named after “The Hulk” or, “Velociraptor.”

The boys had a great time.

I would say that Universal has done a great job with food service.   I’d been on a pretty aggressive diet and exercise plan prior to leaving.   On this trip by fitbit was pinging 10,000 steps by mid-day pretty much every day.   Haven’t computed how many miles I walked during the week but it was a lot.

Despite that looks like I regained about 10 pounds for the week.  Well, doom on me.

I will say “Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen,” “Big Fire,” “Vivo Italian Kitchen” and, even Margaritaville were worth the calories.

Well, thankfully that “Vacation” is over and, I’m back to what I enjoy.

This Wednesday I’ll be hosting what I believe you’ll find valuable.

I’ll be walking through various “Pillars” of effective marketing systems for referrals.   It’s interesting how few advisors really understand the value of client appreciation events, having a book, pass along reports, webinars and live zoom meetings and other systems for creating easy paths to client referrals.

What many miss is that even your staff are often not that great at “pitching” your service.   What’s been called an “Elevator Speech” or, what Chet Holmes used to all “Stadium Pitch.”

While there are certainly better “scripts” to ask for referrals what really drives traffic once you are at “critical mass” of clients, is a combination of events, pass along support tools, and effective education.

I’ll discuss all of these this coming Wednesday.

Hold your spot now – this will be LIVE and fully INTERACTIVE.

Look forward to seeing you live – this coming Wednesday – May 26th.
