Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM), a portion of the Anglian Omega Group, declared a collaboration with US-based battery technology player iM3NY to obtain battery cell technology for the Indian market from the US. It had signed an alliance before with a Korean technology player named Jae Sung to manufacture local EV powertrains powered by its technology prowess and expertise. The powertrains for the whole range of the company's electric vehicles are developed with 6 variants ranging from 7.5 KW to 34 KW, making OSM the country's first fully integrated electric OEM to manufacture its metal assembly, battery pack, and builds with its own power train also, providing vehicle and mobility solutions.

Development through Technology?

OSM has offered to set an acquisition of US$ 9792 Mn for two new green field

manufacturing factories to produce EV parts. It has four state-run manufacturing plants for its electric automobiles in Pune and Delhi NCR. iM3NY is the key player in Li-ion batteries in the US which is introduced by a group of companies such as Manis Energy Technology, C4V, and others, directed by a former Tesla employee. It focuses on both the EV (Electric Vehicle) and ESS (Energy Storage System) markets. Also, iM3NY Li-ion cells use a distinguished technology called Biomineralized Lithium Mixed Metal Phosphate.?
