The vast majority of the complaints that I receive are, in one way or another, driven by a sense that media coverage is biased. Sometimes people perceive bias because of the way a story is worded. Other times it’s because of the choices reporters and editors make about which aspect of the issue receives the most emphasis. In many cases, what upsets people is even more rudimentary: the decisions about which issues do and don’t get to?air.
