Oman showcases green hydrogen strategy at Dutch symposium

AMSTERDAM: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals , participated in the Hydrogen Symposium held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
In his speech during the symposium, His Excellency Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, reviewed the Sultanate of Oman’s strategy in the green hydrogen sector and the important steps it has taken to build a competitive and sustainable hydrogen economy, stressing the importance of enhancing international cooperation to develop trade corridors for hydrogen and its derivatives.
The delegation of the Sultanate of Oman participating in the symposium held several meetings that included the Port of Amsterdam and some companies operating in the hydrogen transport and consumption sector to enhance the partnership between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the energy and logistics sectors related to the transport of liquid hydrogen.
