NPCC bags $162mn EPC contract for major ADNOC project

National Petroleum Construction Co (NPCC), a subsidiary of National Marine Dredging Co (NMDC), has been awarded a contract worth $162.31 million by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), reported?Oil & Gas Middle East.

The contract encompasses the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities for the installation of seven jackets, as stated in a filing to the stock exchange.

DAMAC awards $64.3mn contract to Al Qandeel Contracting

Al Qandeel Contracting?(AQC), a Dubai-based residential, commercial, and hospitality contractor, was awarded a $64.3mn (AED236mn) contract for the main works at?DAMAC Hills 2. AQC will carry on the construction of the main works package for 515 villas at the Camelia cluster, which is part of the 55 million sq ft. master community.

According to DAMAC’s press release, the Camelia cluster will have 3-bedroom luxury townhouses and feature modern recreational and entertainment facilities for its community.?

Saudi’s Red Sea International Airport gears up for grand opening this summer

Saudi Arabia’s gigaproject,?The Red Sea, is set to open its inaugural international airport this summer, according to an exclusive interview with?Arabian Business?where Red Sea Global (RSG) CEO John Pagano disclosed key details.

The Red Sea International Airport will initially focus on serving domestic arrivals and gradually expand its operations to accommodate international flights by the following year.

Pagano emphasized that the airport, designed as a comprehensive boutique facility, will be equipped to handle aircraft of all scales, ranging from private jets to the colossal Airbus A380.

Saudi Arabia’s $1 billion ‘Jadat Baghdad’ project set to transform Iraq

Saudi Arabia’s?ambassador?to Iraq announced on Monday that the Gulf kingdom will construct nearly 6,500 houses and Iraq’s largest shopping mall near the capital city of?Baghdad.

Following an agreement between the two neighbouring Arab countries, the project, estimated to cost around $1 billion, will be financed by Saudi Arabia.

UAE to build world’s largest airport in Dubai South by 2050

According to Dubai South, the urban master developer, the Al Maktoum International Airport is intended to become the largest airport in the world once it is fully constructed.

#DubaiSouth will be home to the world’s largest airport once complete, and a multi-modal transport infrastructure linking air, land, and sea. Along with the advantages of a business-friendly free zone, it will also provide a diverse range of residential options,” Dubai South said via Twitter.
